Although Dettol came into existence before Delta both soap brands are dominating the market greatly. Both brand’s period of existence is enough to achieve their visions and goals. One of the interviewed who identified herself as Tomi said; “I prefer using Dettol, it is very good for my skin”

JD, from Yaba, said “Delta is the only soap I use, it is very cool for bathing”

In conclusion, Dettol and Delta are Nigeria’s  No 1 Best Therapy For a Smooth, Clean and Fresh Skin Free from Bacteria. They are both effective, have lovely packaging, and are reliable. They have very good fragrances and are loved by many. And while some customers may prefer one over the other, it is all a matter of preference. This is an interesting exposition I really enjoyed reading this write up. I also align myself with the author’s conclusion; it’s a matter of choice. Be that as it may both Companies must continue to innovate in other to retain their customers and break new grounds.

I use both and don’t really have any preference.
But if I am to choose, I would go with Dettol soap because Dettol is from an international brand while i believe Delta is from a local brand.

I remember using Dettol. The smell was really good and I felt fresh afterwards. I also liked the fact that Dettol has several fragrance unlike Delta that has this harsh germs killing smell. I mean Dettol kill gems also but makes you feel safe cos people wouldn’t know you used some hardcore gems killing soap lol.
I bet Delta has come up with different variety or worked on their fragrance (Delta users, please confirm this)
Otherwise, I fell on Irish spring and some other time Olay bath-gel (smells refreshing).

I don’t use any of these now but as a young person my mum used Dettol whenever we have skin infection and it was very effective. It has been in existence for a long time. As they say ‘the devil you know is better than the one you don’t know’. I will prefer Dettol

I think I have an attachment to Dettol. Dettol disinfectant was a constant product in my family many years back so I naturally gravitated to the soap.
I use Delta whenever Dettol is not within reach and I enjoy it too but not as much as Dettol
