#SMEchallenge business grant is a financial assistance given to entrepreneurs and small businesses owners who are involved in a productive enterprise in Nigeria.
This initiative is supported by Okey Bakassi Foundation in collaboration with Fidelity Bank Plc, aimed at supporting small businesses struggling to remain afloat during this challenging time.
Every month starting from August till December 2020, one lucky winner will emerge to claim the sum of N 500,000 from the #SMEchallenge.
Steps Involved in Getting #SMEchallenge Business Grant
- Have a registered business name
- The business should between 0 to 3 years old

- Go to Job Centre and click on SMEchallenge
- Upload your business plan on the portal, this mustn’t be more than 5 pages
- Then click to register
How can your business plan be among the top 10 qualifiers?
- Scalability: Your business must have the potential to grow and expand its level of performance to increase profit and growth opportunities
- Feasibility: Your business must be viable, worth the time and up and running
- Good financial and available market understanding, you must have a good understanding of how you intend to market your business and reach your target customer
If this is done correctly you will score 50 points which means your business has made it to the first top 10, this will be published on all Okey Bakassi’s social media platforms and also on qualisbusinesssupport.com
Once your name is published make a one minute’s video introducing yourself and business and why you need to win.
Post the one minute video on your Instagram handle tag @okeybakassi @official_qualis @fidelitybankplc, your video will be reposted, the video with the highest number of likes get an extra 10 points.
August entry closes today being 15th while September entry starts on the 16th of August 2020
You will also have the opportunity to attend 4 days of intensive training that would be anchored by business experts from Lagos Business School.
You will be taught how to run a successful business, afterwards a short test would be conducted based on what you were taught, If your test score is 40 added to the previous 60 marks you have automatically emerge the winner of N500,000 from the #SMEchallenge business grants
