by Radarr Africa

Dr. Freeman Osonuga is the MD/CEO of Adloyalty Business Network (AdloyaltyBN), a global centralized platform for Real Estate Network Marketing. The successful entrepreneur started out as a Medical Doctor saving lives of many especially during the Ebola Virus break-out, he then ventured into Real Estate to help individuals earn a fair share of the multi-million dollars in Nigerian real estate market. Dr. Freeman shared his career experience, challenges and the major decisions that led to his success in establishing Adloyalty.

What three words would you use to best describe your company today?

Credibility, Empowerment and Fidelity

What inspired the growth (creation) of your company?

The need to make homeownership affordable and accessible to all.

Please give us a brief background about yourself, age, educational and career history?

I’m a Multi-award winning Nigerian Entrepreneur, Medical Doctor, Real Estate Broker, Humanitarian and International Public Speaker.

I began my career as a General Practitioner (GP) and was recognized for my contribution to helping to make West Africa Ebola-free during the 2014/2015 outbreak. I was also shortlisted as one of three young leaders to win an all-expense-paid trip to space organized by London-based talent agency Kruger Cowne in partnership with One Young World and Xcor Space Expeditions.

Other than being a Medical Doctor, I am highly skilled in marketing which cuts across the building industry, infrastructure, economics, and investment.  I also have a vast interest in startup development and business management.

Family has a huge influence on our lives, which member of your family has the biggest influence in your choice of career?

My wife (Damilola Osonuga) encouraged me at the early phase of my real estate career especially when I was transitioning from my medical career.

Why your chosen career?

My love for helping people inspired me to become a Medical Doctor. Now that same love drives me to make home ownership affordable and accessible to all.

Do you have mentors?

Yes, both locally and internationally.

Talk to us about your company, where is it now and is it in line with your vision?

Our vision is to empower people and create affordable homes to bridge the housing deficit gap in Nigeria.

What is the company’s structure in terms of personal culture, competitive advantage, marketing strategy, and branding?

We imbibe a culture of innovation and reward hard work, by this I mean rewarding our esteemed Adloyalty Business Network realtors.

We recently gave one of our highest selling consultants an SUV while rewarding many others with several home appliances and Shoprite shopping vouchers. We believe that hard work is the most important competitive edge of entrepreneurs.

Where do you envision your company 5 years from now?

I envision that Adloyalty Business Network will be a big player in the international real estate business terrain within the next 5 years.

Technology has taken over the world, tell us how you have leveraged technology in your company?

We engage our consultants daily through various digital channels.

What’s your biggest challenge so far in running your company and how did you manage it?

Lucky we have been able to overcome several challenges in the course of running our business.

How have you been able to sustain your company in terms of financing?

We make enough to run the company and everyone gets paid.

In the course of running your company are there decisions you would have made differently?

None

What’s the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?

During my practice as a medical doctor, I volunteered for a six-month-long humanitarian assignment to Sierra Leone as part of my contribution to the African Union’s Ebola response mission during the Ebola Virus Disease outbreak in West Africa.

What sets you apart from others?

I am determined, result-driven and unstoppable. My current business model allows creation of millionaires through our real estate scheme.

What’s your definition of success?

To me, success is determined when a person fulfils the purpose of which he was created.

How do you unwind?

I unwind by listening to music.

What are some of your biggest achievements so far?

My biggest achievements are still ahead, however, I am privileged to have received the following awards and recognitions for my work.

  • 2013 – One Young World Ambassador
  • 2013 – Top Ten Outstanding Young Persons In Nigeria
  • 2014 – TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year

Looking forward, do you intend growing a stronger brand name in your industry or diversifying into other industries?

We intend to grow the Adloyalty Business Network brand to become the number one real estate brokerage firm in Nigeria.

Be willing to take necessary steps to achieve your dreams knowing fully well that success isn’t achieved in the comfort zone.

Thus is indeed a great one. Your definition to success sir is so wonderful and amazing. I would love to ask; what advice do you have for students who have strong entrepreneurship spirit at very early stage of life and finding it hard now to balance school work with it.
