Pinnacle Oil & Gas Limited has announced the commissioning of a new fuel service station in Abaranje, Ikotun, Lagos State, as part of its ongoing expansion strategy to make quality petroleum products more accessible to Nigerians.

In a statement issued by the company, the new station, which commenced operations last Thursday, demonstrates Pinnacle’s commitment to improving fuel accessibility, enhancing customer experience, and supporting Nigeria’s energy distribution network.

Speaking during the launch ceremony, the company’s Head of Sales, Mrs. Nnenna Mbaoma, said the new outlet represents a major step in Pinnacle’s mission to deliver reliable and affordable energy solutions to households and businesses across the country.

“We are excited to extend our footprint into Abaranje, further reinforcing our commitment to providing Nigerians with convenient access to reliable and high-quality energy products. This expansion reflects our dedication to customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and support for local communities,” Mbaoma said.

The event attracted several dignitaries, including community leaders, industry stakeholders, and residents of the Abaranje–Ikotun area, who commended the company for investing in the local economy and creating job opportunities.

According to the company, the new facility was strategically sited to serve the fast-developing Ikotun–Abaranje corridor, which has witnessed steady population and commercial growth in recent years.

The station will offer premium motor spirit (PMS), automotive gas oil (AGO), dual-purpose kerosene (DPK), and a variety of Pinnacle Lubricants designed for both personal and commercial vehicles. Customers are expected to benefit from accurate fuel dispensing, transparent pricing, and professional service delivery in a clean and secure environment.

Pinnacle also announced that the new outlet would feature affordable lubricants and introduce promotional offers and giveaways for customers. The initiative is part of the company’s broader retail strategy aimed at rewarding loyalty while promoting its range of lubricants and energy products.

The company noted that this expansion aligns with its long-term goal of boosting national energy accessibility, fostering employment, and strengthening Nigeria’s downstream petroleum value chain.

“We are not just expanding our retail footprint; we are investing in communities, empowering small businesses, and creating opportunities that drive economic growth,” the statement added.

The company further revealed plans to commission two additional service stations in Makurdi, Benue State, and Enugu before the end of 2025, as part of its retail network development plan.

Founded with a vision to transform Nigeria’s petroleum supply and distribution infrastructure, Pinnacle Oil & Gas has grown into one of the country’s leading energy firms, operating in storage, logistics, trading, and retail distribution.

Its state-of-the-art offshore petroleum terminal in Lagos has been recognised as one of the most efficient in West Africa, significantly improving product delivery timelines and reducing dependence on road-based transportation.

Industry analysts believe the company’s continued retail expansion could help improve market competition, stabilise supply chains, and support government efforts toward ensuring consistent fuel availability across the country.

Residents of Abaranje expressed optimism that the new station would not only ease fuel scarcity challenges in the area but also provide employment opportunities for young people.

“It’s a welcome development. We’ve had to go far to get fuel in the past, but now with Pinnacle here, we expect better access and fair prices,” said Mr. Kayode Akinwale, a local business owner.

Pinnacle’s management reaffirmed that its growth strategy remains focused on safety, transparency, and innovation, as it continues to align with national goals of energy reliability and economic inclusion.
