Business School Netherlands (BSN), a globally accredited Tier One institution known for its Action Learning MBA, has graduated 42 Nigerian professionals at its 2025 global graduation ceremony. The event marks another major milestone in the school’s contribution to developing executive leaders in Nigeria’s public and private sectors.

With the latest batch of graduates, BSN has now produced over 1,067 MBA holders in Nigeria. The institution, which has campuses and study centres in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, continues to play a major role in strengthening leadership capacity and business management knowledge across the country.

According to the school, more than 2,000 Nigerians have enrolled in its internationally recognised MBA programme since inception. Many of these alumni have gone on to occupy key leadership positions in corporate organisations, government agencies, and entrepreneurial ventures both within and outside the country. Two Nigerians have also received the prestigious Cum Laude award, which is reserved for graduates who achieve exceptional academic and leadership performance.

In a statement released on Tuesday, BSN announced that the 2025 graduating class achieved remarkable academic success. Mrs. Aderonke Itaman, MBA, FCA, emerged as the Overall Best Graduate with Distinction, a recognition of her outstanding performance throughout the programme.

Each of the 42 graduates completed rigorous coursework and practical leadership projects tailored to promote innovation, business growth, and social impact. The Action Learning approach, for which BSN is widely known, requires students to apply management theories directly to real business challenges, helping them develop hands-on problem-solving skills.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of Business School Netherlands International Nigeria, Mr. Lere Baale, reiterated the institution’s dedication to producing transformative leaders who can address complex global and local challenges.

“Our mission is to raise leaders through Action Learning, an approach that addresses today’s complex business challenges using the principles of direction, vision, understanding, clarity, agility, resilience, and diversity,” Baale stated.

He noted that BSN’s model equips professionals with the mindset and practical tools needed to lead in dynamic and unpredictable business environments. He added that the school’s flexible schedule, which includes weekend-only classes, enables busy professionals to pursue world-class business education without disrupting their careers.

The statement also highlighted that Business School Netherlands is consistently ranked among the top 10 executive business schools globally by CEO Magazine. It has also been recognised as the Best MBA Provider in the Netherlands, confirming its strong reputation for academic excellence and leadership development.

The MBA programme focuses on developing critical thinking, innovation, and strategic leadership skills, while also promoting ethics and sustainability in business. It attracts professionals from various industries, including finance, oil and gas, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and technology.

Over the years, BSN Nigeria has maintained strong partnerships with leading corporations, professional bodies, and development organisations to ensure that its curriculum remains relevant to the changing business landscape. Many of its alumni now occupy senior management positions across Nigeria’s private and public sectors, contributing significantly to national growth and transformation.

Participants in the 2025 ceremony commended the institution for its continuous investment in high-quality business education. Graduates described the Action Learning experience as a turning point in their professional and personal growth.

For BSN, the milestone reflects its long-term vision of empowering Nigerian professionals with global business knowledge and leadership capacity to drive innovation, improve governance, and strengthen the country’s economic development.

As global business dynamics evolve, institutions like Business School Netherlands continue to bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring that Nigerian leaders are well-prepared to compete and excel in the global economy. The school’s emphasis on innovation, ethics, and continuous learning has made it one of the most respected names in executive education in Nigeria and beyond.
