On Wednesday, July 13 FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., one of the world’s largest express transport firms announced it is launching eight new flights from the Philippines to cater to the rising demand in intra-Asia trade.
Philippine e-commerce businesses stand to benefit from enhanced connections to Japan, Singapore, and South Korea with these new flights, the company stated.
In all, Filipino exporters and importers will have access to 56 weekly flights coming in and out of Clark.
The FedEx Express service enables a one-day transit time improvement from South Korea to the Philippines, favoring local importers.
