NIESV Lagos Branch Appoints Tosin Kadiri as 29th Chairman

The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), Lagos State Branch, has inaugurated Tosin Kadiri as its new chairman, marking the beginning of his tenure as the 29th leader of the chapter.

The investiture ceremony, held at the Muson Centre in Victoria Island, was attended by industry leaders, members, and dignitaries. Chairman of Adron Group, Adetola Emmanuelking, praised Kadiri’s dedication, integrity, and professional excellence, pledging his support for the new administration.

Outgoing chairman, Gbenga Ismail, reflected on his two-year tenure, noting both the challenges and achievements of his leadership. He highlighted the importance of unity, resilience, and maintaining strong representation at the national level, expressing gratitude to members for their support and collaboration.

In his acceptance speech, Kadiri underscored the real estate sector’s critical role in driving economic growth and social stability in Lagos and Nigeria. He emphasised the need for integrity, technical competence, and innovation in practice areas such as valuation, property management, facilities management, land administration, PropTech, and green buildings.

Kadiri outlined six strategic pillars for his tenure: enhancing member engagement, promoting professional development, fostering collaboration and partnerships, advocating for members’ interests, improving welfare, and promoting youth development within the profession.
