The Coordinator of the Obidient Movement in Oshodi-Isolo, Lagos State, Hon. Sam Ejike, has led members of the movement in celebrating the 64th birthday of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Mr. Peter Obi.

In a statement made available to journalists on Monday, Hon. Ejike, alongside all Obidient comrades in Oshodi-Isolo, felicitated with Obi on his new age. He described the former Anambra State governor as a leader worthy of celebration, noting that his contributions to good governance and accountability in Nigeria remain an inspiration to many Nigerians, especially the youth.

According to Hon. Ejike, “We, the Obidient Movement in Oshodi-Isolo, together with all comrades, extend our heartfelt congratulations to our principal, His Excellency Peter Obi, on his 64th birthday. We pray for his good health, strength, and wisdom as he continues to champion the cause of a better Nigeria.”

He further stated that the Obidient Movement remains steadfast in supporting Peter Obi’s vision for a new Nigeria where transparency, justice, and economic development are prioritized.

The Obidient Movement, a support base for Peter Obi, gained national prominence during the 2023 general elections, particularly among young Nigerians advocating for good governance and credible leadership.

Peter Obi, who governed Anambra State between 2006 and 2014, turned 64 on July 19, 2025. Many of his supporters and well-wishers across Nigeria and in the diaspora have taken to social media and various platforms to celebrate him, hailing his leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to national development.
