TotalEnergies Records N27bn Profit, Proposes N40 Dividend Per Share for 2024

TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc has reported a profit of N27.49 billion for the financial year ended December 31, 2024. This marks a significant 113 per cent increase from the N12.92 billion recorded in 2023.

The company disclosed this in its audited financial statement submitted to the Nigerian Exchange Limited as part of its corporate disclosure requirements.

According to the report, TotalEnergies’ profit before tax grew by 140 per cent, rising from N17.58 billion in 2023 to N42.26 billion in 2024. In the same period, the company’s revenue climbed by 64 per cent, from N635.95 billion to N1.04 trillion.

To reward its shareholders, the company has proposed a dividend payout of N13.6 billion, which translates to N40 per share. This is a 60 per cent increase compared to the N25 per share dividend paid in 2023.

Despite the growth in profit and revenue, the company’s share capital remained unchanged at N169.76 million in both 2023 and 2024.

TotalEnergies attributed its improved performance to strong operational execution, improved market conditions, and efficient cost management.
