Hossam Hazaa, a member of the Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF), has stated that tourism rates in Egypt have increased by 15% to 20% in some areas. He attributed this growth to the government’s strategic efforts to promote tourism, ensure service quality, and maintain security and stability.
Speaking during an interview on Extra News Channel on Saturday, March 29, 2025, Hazaa highlighted the effectiveness of the country’s tourism promotion strategies. He emphasized that Egypt possesses vast tourism potential, requiring tailored marketing plans for different countries.
Hazaa also noted that Egypt actively participates in international exhibitions and leverages cultural events, such as the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum, to boost tourism.
Additionally, he pointed out that large-scale tourism campaigns were conducted during Ramadan across Arab and Gulf countries to attract visitors.
