The Chief Executive Officer of Cutix Plc, Ijeoma Odunoye, has been honoured with the Most Successful Female Entrepreneur/Excellent Performer award by the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME).
Odunoye, who also serves as Deputy President South of NASME, received the recognition during the 2025 NASME International Women’s Day Awards held in Abuja on Saturday. The event was graced by industry leaders and stakeholders, including the Special Adviser to the President on Job Creation and MSMEs, Mr. Olatunji Johnson, who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and delivered the keynote address.
According to NASME National President Dr Abdulrashid Yerima, the awards aim to spotlight individuals and institutions contributing significantly to the MSME sector.
“Mrs Ijeoma Oduonye’s support for the development of MSMEs has not gone unnoticed. This award is a celebration of her contributions and leadership,” Yerima said.
In her acceptance speech, Odunoye dedicated the award to the Cutix board, management, and staff, highlighting teamwork and a commitment to quality as keys to the company’s sustained growth.
“Quality will speak for you,” she declared. “People say Cutix is expensive, but they also say you can sleep with two eyes closed when you use our products. We don’t cut corners—that’s what makes the difference.”
