MRS Oil Nigeria Plc says it expects to make a net profit after tax of N3.95 billion in the third quarter of 2025. The company made this disclosure in its Q3 earnings forecast released on Tuesday, June 4, 2025.

According to the company’s forecast, it is projecting a total revenue of N393.58 billion for the quarter. The cost of sales is expected to be N378.93 billion, which will result in a gross profit of N14.65 billion.

After deducting distribution, administrative, and other expenses amounting to N8.91 billion, the oil company’s operating profit is projected at N6 billion.

MRS Oil also expects to earn N261.67 million from other income and incur N58.61 million in finance costs. The result is a projected profit before tax of N5.9 billion. After deducting N1.95 billion for taxes, the company’s net income after tax is expected to be N3.95 billion.

The forecast further shows earnings per share for the period will be N11.53.

Meanwhile, the company’s statement of cash flows shows it expects to generate N4.03 billion in net cash from its operations in Q3 2025. However, investing activities are expected to consume N5.63 billion, with no cash flow from financing during the period.

This will result in a net decrease in cash and cash equivalents of N1.60 billion, dropping the company’s cash balance to N4.62 billion by the end of the quarter.
