The Noella Foundation has launched a series of life-changing social and economic initiatives across Nigeria to celebrate the 40th birthday of its co-founder, Mr. Seyi Tinubu. The Foundation said the programmes, supported by friends and well-wishers, are designed to create lasting impact in healthcare, entrepreneurship, and education key areas that drive inclusive national development.
In a statement signed by the Programme Manager of Noella Foundation, Nnanna Kalu, the organisation explained that the activities were not just a birthday celebration but a reflection of values rooted in empathy, service, and purpose.
“Marking Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday through initiatives that empower communities and support vulnerable groups reflects the values he embodies empathy, service, and collective responsibility,” Kalu said. “This celebration, powered by friends and well-wishers, is about making a difference where it matters most.”
Under its healthcare intervention, the Foundation announced that it will provide free health insurance coverage for over 1,000 Nigerians, focusing on pregnant women and individuals living with sickle cell disorder. The goal is to reduce the financial strain of healthcare costs and promote inclusion in the nation’s health insurance system.
To ensure effective delivery, the Foundation said it had entered into partnerships with two reputable non-governmental organisations Crimson Bow and Genotype Foundation to provide essential medication and welfare support to sickle cell patients. The partnership, according to Kalu, will guarantee transparency, accountability, and efficient distribution of life-saving drugs to those most in need.
In the education sector, the Noella Foundation said it will distribute 200 laptops to students in public secondary schools across Nigeria. This initiative, according to the Foundation, aims to boost digital literacy, improve learning outcomes, and prepare Nigerian students for global competitiveness in the digital economy.
Complementing this intervention is a specialised digital training programme for 40 young Nigerians. The training will cover high-demand fields such as software engineering, data analytics, cloud computing, and product design. The programme seeks to equip participants with employable tech skills and open pathways to job opportunities in Nigeria’s rapidly growing digital and innovation ecosystem.
By investing in digital education, the Foundation said it aims to highlight the connection between knowledge, innovation, and national growth. It added that technology can serve as a bridge to reduce inequality and promote upward mobility among young Nigerians, especially those from low-income backgrounds.
As part of its economic empowerment drive, the Foundation will distribute 40 SME Empowerment Kiosks to small business owners across different regions of the country. The kiosks are designed to help micro-entrepreneurs particularly women and youth access business infrastructure, mentorship, and financial stability.
According to the Foundation, the initiative will stimulate local economies and encourage self-reliance through entrepreneurship. “These acts of service reinforce our belief that leadership is best measured by the lives we touch,” the statement added. “Through collaboration, we can transform celebration into service and goodwill into progress.”
Since its establishment, the Noella Foundation has continued to promote social development through community-based initiatives and strategic partnerships. Its integrated approach combining healthcare, education, and enterprise — reflects a vision of philanthropy that delivers sustainable impact and long-term value for Nigerians.
As Mr. Seyi Tinubu clocks 40, the Foundation’s interventions stand as a model of modern philanthropy that merges personal milestones with public benefit. The organisation said it remains committed to advancing national development through inclusive growth and empowerment of individuals and communities.
Through its coordinated programmes, the Noella Foundation continues to demonstrate that private-sector-led social responsibility can create lasting change and set a new standard for purposeful leadership in Nigeria.
