Smartcomply, a leading African provider of cybersecurity and compliance solutions, has launched a new partner programme aimed at building a strong alliance to transform digital security across the continent. The company made the announcement on Monday, stating that the initiative is designed to empower partners with innovative tools, hands-on support, and access to Africa’s expanding cybersecurity market.
Chief Executive Officer of Smartcomply, Gbemisola Osunrinde, said the programme represents a bold shift from the current fragmented and reactive approach to cybersecurity, moving towards a more collaborative and proactive system. According to her, the aim is to help businesses and technology providers offer integrated, intelligent, and locally relevant security services as cyber threats increase with the rise of digital transformation and fintech operations across Africa.
The Smartcomply Partner Programme targets a wide network of consultants, security vendors, and technology firms by offering different levels of participation. It gives them access to Smartcomply’s full suite of cybersecurity solutions while creating opportunities to earn income and extend their services across Africa and the Middle East.
Analysts predict that Africa’s cybersecurity industry will surpass $10 billion by 2030, driven by the continent’s increasing digitalisation and the need for stronger cyber risk management. Smartcomply’s initiative is seen as timely and well-positioned to respond to this demand.
At the early stage of the rollout, Smartcomply has partnered with several firms including TechHive, Commercio, Tech Falcon Holding, Platview Technologies, and enov8 Solutions Limited. These companies are already using Smartcomply’s tools to expand their offerings and improve cybersecurity outcomes for clients.
The programme offers three major levels of participation. The first tier, Affiliate Partnership, allows individuals or businesses to refer clients and earn recurring commissions. Smartcomply will handle all sales and technical support, reducing the operational burden on the affiliate.
The second tier, Reseller Partnership, gives partners full control of their client relationships. Resellers will receive training, sales support, and access to marketing materials to help them grow their businesses independently.
The third tier, White-label Partnership, is designed for more established organisations that want to fully rebrand and own Smartcomply’s solutions. These partners can integrate the tools under their own names and benefit from a higher revenue share while maintaining full control over client engagement and support.
According to the company, one of the major strengths of the programme is its AI-powered security technology. Partners will gain access to platforms such as Adhere, which handles transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and KYC/AML compliance; Secure, a compliance solution that helps businesses meet global regulatory standards including ISO 27001, Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), GDPR, and PCI DSS; and Intel, a threat intelligence engine that monitors the dark web, detects breaches, and protects brand identity.
In addition, the programme includes Academy, an online training platform focused on developing the skills of cybersecurity teams and executive leaders. The platform offers courses tailored to Africa’s digital environment, aiming to close the skills gap and boost local capacity.
Group Chief Operating Officer of Solutions Benchmark Marine, Mr Erigha Henry, commended the structure of the partner programme. He described it as more than a simple sales channel, noting that it is built on true collaboration and long-term value creation.
He explained that the initiative encourages partners to deliver practical and transformational cybersecurity solutions, instead of just reselling software. This model, according to him, builds trust and drives innovation.
CEO Gbemisola Osunrinde also stressed that what makes the programme stand out is its ease of entry, technical backing, and strong revenue potential. She added that Smartcomply is now actively inviting new partners who are ready to play a leading role in changing Africa’s cybersecurity space.
With cyber threats growing in both number and complexity, organisations across the continent are increasingly in need of smart, scalable, and affordable protection. Smartcomply’s partner programme is expected to attract businesses that want to offer reliable security solutions without building from scratch.
The company’s long-term goal is to create a well-connected cybersecurity ecosystem that provides real-time protection, boosts regulatory compliance, and empowers local players across Africa and the Middle East.
