THE Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company has appealed to its customers in Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Cross Rivers States to adopt online payment of bills and other related transactions.
PHED, which made this appeal on Monday as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, explained that extra control measures needed to be embraced to keep its employees and customers safe.
A statement signed by PHED’s Spokesman, Mr. John Onyi, added that with effect from Monday, 23rd of March, there would be a reduction in all transactions that involved physical contact.
