As with every marketing, target audience is 70% of the work. Miss this and you’re in for a failed campaign. This is where a lot of business tend to meet that obstacle that hinders that outreach.

On the part of email newsletters, I don’t think I completely agree with the follow-up sequence as a part of generating leads. Newsletters are more of sending emails to an acquired audience but if your email copies are well written, there’s a possible your readers would share them thus, getting you organic referral leads.

Another great lead generation tactics with using newsletters are solo ads where you get to pay another marketer or influencer who has a buyer’s list to send your emails to their subscribers. They’re quite pricey depending on the niche and the quality of the partner’s list but there’re definitely worth the shot.
