First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has broadened its reach by inaugurating a new branch in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, aiming to enhance financial inclusion and stimulate economic growth in the region.
Situated along the Ogbomosho-Ilorin road, the branch was officially opened on March 12, 2025, in a ceremony graced by local dignitaries and community leaders.
Oba Ghandi Olaoye, the Soun of Ogbomosho, lauded the establishment of the FCMB branch, highlighting its potential to empower local businesses and align with the town’s 25-year development plan. Similarly, Honourable Seun Ojo, Chairman of Ogo-Oluwa Local Government, acknowledged FCMB’s role in advancing financial inclusion across Ogbomosho land. He encouraged the bank to extend its services to more communities, thereby strengthening local economies.
Mrs. Yemisi Edun, Managing Director of FCMB, represented by the Bank’s National Head of Sales, Mr. Emmanuel Comla, reiterated the bank’s dedication to fostering inclusive growth. She emphasized FCMB’s commitment to investing in Ogbomosho’s future, recognizing the city’s industrious spirit and strategic development plans under ObaOlaoye’s leadership.
