Toyota Nigeria Limited is using the 25th Abuja International Motor Fair to do more than showcase new vehicles. The company is taking the opportunity to remind Nigerians of its long-standing reputation for reliability, customer-focused service and leadership in the country’s automotive market.
In a statement on Wednesday, Toyota said its pavilion at the event has become a major attraction for visitors looking for dependable mobility solutions backed by decades of trust. Rather than focusing only on new releases, the company is using the event to reconnect with loyal customers and guide new buyers through its proven lineup. The strategy is aimed at reinforcing why Toyota remains one of Nigeria’s most respected automobile brands.
One of the key models attracting attention is the all-new Urban Cruiser, a compact crossover SUV powered by a 1.5-litre engine. The vehicle is designed for modern urban mobility and has been drawing interest from young professionals and city drivers.
The popular Toyota Corolla, equipped with a 1.8-litre engine, is also on display. Visitors are able to explore options ranging from leather to fabric interiors, making it appealing to customers who prioritise both comfort and efficiency.
The RAV4 two-wheel-drive variant, fitted with leather seats, is another highlight at the fair. Toyota is also showcasing the Camry luxury edition, powered by a 3.5-litre engine, which remains a favourite among Nigerian executives and families looking for comfort and performance.
Commercial customers have not been left out. Toyota is exhibiting the well-known 16-seater Hiace bus, fitted with a 2.7-litre engine, which continues to be one of the most trusted models for transport businesses across the country.
Visitors to the fair are also showing strong interest in the rugged Hilux pickup. The model on display features a 2.7-litre engine, alloy wheels and both automatic and manual transmission options, appealing to users who need a vehicle that can handle tough terrains.
Another major attraction is the newly introduced Land Cruiser Prado, showcased in two trims—the 2.7-litre TX and the 2.4-litre turbocharged VX. The model’s entry into the Nigerian market has generated significant excitement among SUV enthusiasts.
The iconic Land Cruiser VX, often called the “King of the Road,” is also available at the pavilion. It now comes with a 3.5-litre twin-turbo engine, sunroof, wireless charging and reverse sensors. Complementing it is the Land Cruiser 300 GXR, offering rear-seat entertainment systems, a three-row seating layout with collapsible seats and a V6 4.0-litre engine.
Speaking on Toyota Nigeria Limited’s participation, the Unit Head of Advertisement and Public Relations, Mrs Bukki Ogunnusi, said the company positioned its stand to attend to both existing and potential customers. She added that accredited Toyota dealers are fully represented to provide personalised guidance on sales and after-sales services.
The 25th Abuja International Motor Fair was officially opened on Tuesday, November 18, by Vice President Kashim Shettima, who was represented by the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, SAN.
Toyota Nigeria Limited says it will continue to use platforms like the Abuja Motor Fair to deepen engagement with customers and maintain its long legacy of trust in the Nigerian automotive industry.
