Google has announced a significant upgrade for its Workspace Individual subscribers that will see their storage increased to 1TB at no extra cost.

Currently, Workspace Individual subscribers receive the same allocation as free Gmail accounts 15GB.

“Every account will be automatically upgraded from their existing 15 GB of storage to 1 TB as we roll this out,” the tech giant said.

Google has improved its multi-send mode with mail merge tags, letting users add tags like @firstname to send emails to multiple addresses.

The tech giant said that each recipient receives a unique email that feels individually crafted specifically for them.

“We’re also launching Google Workspace Individual in a number of new countries and regions: the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Greece and Argentina,” Google said.

It added that it would continue expanding Workspace Individual’s footprint by improving its functionality.

This includes building on Premium Meet, eSignature in Google Docs, flexible layouts, and appointment scheduling.

Google Workspace Individual is available for $9.99 (R180) a month and provides subscribers with a 14-day free trial of the service.
