For the first time in history, the cryptocurrency market overtook Google after the recent announcement of $1.5 billion Bitcoin investment from Tesla
At the moment the total crypto market cap hit $1.413 trillion, surpassing the market capitalization of Google which is at $1.39 trillion.
This huge milestone was recorded shortly after Elon Musk’s Tesla officially announced their investment in Bitcoin (BTC).
With the recent crypto pump, the market capitalization of the likes of Amazon, Microsoft and Apple are placed behind.
Ahead of this meteoric rise in market capitalization, Bitcoin and Ether (ETH) hit new all-time highs of above $48,000 and $1,800, respectively.
Some experts in the industry speculate that Apple could be the next corporation to adopt the crypto asset just like Tesla.
