Headies award to hold in September 2022

The Headies originally called the Hip Hop World Awards is a music award show established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry.

The award show happens every year and it features performances by established and promising artiste across Nigeria and other African countries. Artiste whose music and works have stood out through the year are given a from of acknowledgement and accolade.

On Tuesday morning, Headies announced Nigerian Artiste who have stood out in the industry via nominations.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday 1st of March, 2022, Headies awards founder and Executive Producer Ayo Animashaun announced that the 2022 Headies ceremony would take place Nigeria.

The15th installment of the biggest prize in Nigerian music would hold on 4th September 2022 in Atlanta Georgia.
