Nollywood actor Jide Awobona has entered into a brand partnership with Baker Homes ahead of the launch of Mint Court Phase 2, as the real estate company moves to expand its reach and connect with a wider audience through strategic partnerships.
The partnership will see Awobona support the promotion and public engagement around Mint Court Phase 2, a 10-acre development scheduled for its official launch on September 26, 2026.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, General Manager of Baker Industries Limited, Kingsley Ifoga, said the decision to work with Awobona was influenced by the alignment between his public image and the values the company seeks to communicate, including professionalism, loyalty, transparency and trust.

He added that Awobona’s familiarity with Nigerian audiences could help bring conversations around property ownership to people beyond the traditional real estate market.

According to Ifoga, Awobona’s connection to Ogun State also strengthens the partnership’s relevance, particularly as the company seeks to engage audiences who may identify with the actor and his background.
For Olusegun Osundina, Head of Projects and Development at Baker Homes, the partnership forms part of the company’s strategy for building awareness around Mint Court Phase 2 ahead of its launch.
Speaking at the signing, Osundina said the company’s approach goes beyond the sale of property to creating communities and opportunities for people seeking to build their future.
“Mint Court Phase 2, covering 10 acres, represents another step towards achieving that vision. And to further expand our outreach, we made the decision to onboard Jide Awobona as a brand partner for Mint Court Phase 2,” he said.
