WhatsApp, the popular instant communication app owned by Meta that is used by many for quick texting earlier on 25th of october 2022 reportedly faced an issue making it difficult for a huge number of users across the globe to send and receive messages.
WhatsApp users across the globe were initially unable to send and receive messages.
Reports confirmed that the outage affected both personal chats as well as group chats.
Outage detection website DownDetector had also confirmed that WhatsApp was not working for thousands of users. the outage was soon restored with the social media App coming back on.
WhatsApp is yet to share an official statement on the same.
