The Federal Government has expanded its National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS) to Oyo, Enugu and Kebbi states, with 1,200 young Nigerians set to receive skills training.

Senior Special Assistant Dr Abiola Arogundade said the programme, run by OSSAP-TVEE, forms part of President Tinubu’s target of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty within a decade.
“Nigerian youths are not the problem; they are the solution,” she said.
Separately, the Federal Government announced its Zero-Rated Access to Educational Platforms and Content initiative will launch on October 1, 2026, giving about five million students 100MB of free daily data for approved educational content.
Education Minister Dr Tunji Alausa announced the date at the initiative’s official launch in Abuja.
