With the launch of Dify, an in-browser cashback and digital wallet for online shopping, the Internet Company is gaining entry into the financial sector.

It first launched in Spain and intend to expand the service across the EU, where it currently has 50 million active users.

According to Krystian Kolondra, the spokesperson at Opera he stated that “The total size of Opera’s investment into Dify is expected to exceed $100 million over the next few years, given we scale as expected, “This includes acquisitions, development cost and our marketing and distribution plans.”

In the future, Opera plans to offer wallet services such as savings management, credit, investment opportunities and instant cashback.
