Super Falcons goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor has joined Crystal Palace Women after signing a two-year contract with the Women’s Super League (WSL) club.
Crystal Palace confirmed the arrival of the 21-year-old Nigeria international in an announcement late Thursday.
“Crystal Palace Women are delighted to announce the signing of Nigeria international goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor,” the club wrote on its website.
Erhabor expressed her excitement about beginning a new chapter with the English side and described the move as an important step in her career.
“It feels really good to be here. I’m very excited to get started,” Erhabor told the club’s website. “I’m aspiring to play at the highest level, so this is a really big step in my career.”
Crystal Palace manager Jo Potter also welcomed the young goalkeeper, describing her as an exciting prospect.
“Comfort is a promising young goalkeeper, and we are thrilled to have her here at Palace.”
Erhabor Moves From Portsmouth
The Nigerian goalkeeper joins the Eagles from Portsmouth, where she arrived in July 2025 and went on to make six appearances across all competitions.
Erhabor began her football development at the Brighton & Hove Albion Academy before gaining further experience during loan spells with Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle.
Born in the Netherlands and raised in England, Erhabor chose to represent Nigeria at international level.
She made her Super Falcons debut in February 2026 during a friendly against Cameroon and was subsequently included in Nigeria’s squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
However, she did not feature during the tournament as Nigeria were eliminated in the quarter-finals by eventual champions Cameroon.
Another Super Falcons Star Moves to England
Erhabor’s transfer makes her the latest Super Falcons player to join an English club.
She follows defender Rofiat Imuran, who completed a move to Aston Villa Women ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 22-year-old defender joined the Birmingham-based side from London City Lionesses, continuing a career that previously saw her play for Stade de Reims in France.
Erhabor will now look to build on her growing experience as she begins life with Crystal Palace and continues her development at one of England’s top levels of women’s football.
