Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Nomy has been disqualified from the reality show after another violation of Big Brother’s rules.
Nomy Disqualified After Latest Rule Breach
Nomy, whose real name is Whitney Chukwu, was disqualified on Monday after breaking the conditions attached to her punishment as the week’s Bench Warmer.
She was reportedly required to remain on an assigned bench and wear a designated vest. However, she left the bench and abandoned the vest, prompting Big Brother to take disciplinary action.
Housemate Had Faced Previous Sanctions
The latest incident came after Nomy had already received warnings over her conduct in the house.
She had previously been issued a strike for repeatedly ignoring Big Brother’s instructions. She was also cautioned over lateness, disobedience and failing to take part in compulsory activities.
Big Brother said her latest action demonstrated continued disregard for the rules despite the previous disciplinary measures.
Nomy Given 30 Minutes to Leave
Following the disqualification announcement, Nomy was given 30 minutes to gather her belongings and leave the Big Brother house.
Her exit means she is no longer eligible to compete for the season’s ₦160 million grand prize.
Nomy becomes the first housemate to be disqualified from the ongoing BBNaija Season 11 competition.
