Peter Obi has called on Nigerians living abroad to consider returning home, investing and contributing their expertise to the country’s development.
The former Anambra State governor said Nigerians in the diaspora have an important role to play in building a stronger economy and improving national development.
Obi Highlights Diaspora Contribution

Obi stressed that Nigeria should create an environment capable of attracting the skills, capital and experience of Nigerians living overseas.
He said the country could benefit significantly if its diaspora population brought back their knowledge, businesses and investments.
The call comes amid continuing concerns over brain drain, as skilled Nigerians leave the country in search of better economic and professional opportunities abroad.
Obi has previously argued that Nigerians abroad should remain connected to the country and contribute to its development through investment and expertise.
He said national development should not be left solely to government, urging citizens at home and abroad to play their part in building the country.
