Airtel Africa has successfully renewed its 2100 MHz spectrum license in Nigeria.

The Nigerian subsidiary, Airtel Networks Limited, made a payment to the Nigerian Communications Commission for the license renewal.

Airtel Nigeria to strengthen its position in the market and provide enhanced voice and data services to its customers.

Says the licence will be valid for 15 years upon renewal.

2100 MHz is a 5G frequency band.
